Beta vulgaris. The result of an on farm cross, the parents of which we are not completely certain of. Deep red beet suitable for cooking and pickling, with very old fashioned earthy beetroot flavour. Sow in modules or directly in the ground from February to July. Thin to 20cm. Approximately 100 seeds per packet.
