Sow the seed in February or March, Use a propagator or keep in warm place until germinated. When the seedlings have 2 leaves, transplant into individual 3" pots and keep in a warm, light place. Plant out into the polytunnel or greenhouse during April or May 50cm apart. Use plenty of good compost in the soil as they are heavey feeders. As the plants grow they may need support pinch out their tips when they reach a height of 25 cm, to encourage more fruiting sideshoots. Keep well watered, Harvest as the fruits reach a usable size.
